Associate Professor Louise Hull is an international women’s health pioneer and a member of the specialist team at Genea Oxford Fertility, Christchurch.

Experience & Qualifications

Louise specialises in reproductive endocrinology, fertility, and fertility preservation.  She has a particular interest in endometriosis, recurrent implantation failure, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), adolescent and reproductive endocrinology, and egg freezing.   

After graduating from medical school at the University of Otago, New Zealand and completing a PhD in endometriosis at Cambridge University, UK, Louise moved to Australia where she gained a Certificate of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI) through the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG). She went on to become an Associate Professor at the University of Adelaide, where she leads the Endometriosis Research Group at the Robinson Research Institute.

Her passion for fertility led her to co-found the Fertility SA IVF Unit in Adelaide. She has also worked in private practice and in the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide for many years. 

Additional Information

Louise is a mother of two grown children and splits her time between Christchurch and Australia. Before joining Genea Oxford Fertility, she said she was excited about spending more time in her hometown of Christchurch and sharing the skills and knowledge she had gained.
