Experience & Qualifications
Katrina graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with honours from Monash University, Melbourne. She then went on to train in Gynaecology and Surgery at the Royal Women’s and Mercy Hospitals in Melbourne and the Royal Hospital for Women in Sydney.
After three years of training in the subspecialty of reproductive endocrinology and infertility - including a study comparing different IVF protocols - Katrina gained the CREI specialist qualification. She is now a board member on the Australian and New Zealand society for CREI sub specialists and is an examiner for gynaecologists wanting to attain CREI qualification.
She also holds a Master of Reproductive Medicine from the University of New South Wales, has published research on the hormonal support of early pregnancy and has co-authored guidelines for the treatment of infertility related to endometriosis.
She is a Visiting Medical Officer at Prince of Wales Private Hospital, St Luke's Private Hospital and Sydney Day Surgery and teaches medical students about fertility, miscarriage and IVF at the University of New South Wales.
