Biography

At the heart of Dr Triveni Nanda’s interest in fertility and women’s health lies her strong belief that every woman has the right to be a mother of a healthy child. Triveni focusses on a model of evidence-based, woman-centred care which reaches from diagnosis through treatment and on to pregnancy and delivery.

Experience & Qualifications

Triveni completed her postgraduate degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Mysore Medical College in India in April 1992 and worked as a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Bangalore, India before moving to Australia in 2003.

On arriving in Australia, Triveni undertook further training at Royal North Shore Hospital and throughout its secondment network from 2003 to 2009. This allowed her to further hone her skills in urogynaecology, high-risk obstetrics, infertility, laparoscopic surgery and colposcopy.

After being trained by some of the leading O&G specialists in Australia, Triveni then took on the role of consultant Staff Specialist at Nepean, Hornsby and Canberra Hospitals, passing on her skills and knowledge to junior staff and medical students from March 2009 to March 2014.

In April 2014, Triveni moved to Coffs Harbour to take up the post as Visiting Medical Officer Coffs Harbour health campus and Baringa Private Hospital. She also runs a busy private practice from her rooms in Albany Street, Coffs Harbour.
